We absolutely loved the peaceful location and breathtaking views at Ravencliff Lodge. the farm-turned-tourist property provided an idyllic and cozy environment, perfect for a relaxing stay. the main building with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities was well-maintained and clean. the hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to assist us during a snowstorm. We were grateful for their generosity in pulling our car with a tractor to the main road, saving us from being stuck. the hosts truly exemplified the Icelandic spirit of kindness and hospitality. We also appreciated the good tips they gave us for the rest of our trip.
Felt incredibly welcome, no complaints whatsoever.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the peacefulness of the location, surrounded by beautiful mountains. The comfortable bed provided much-needed rest after a long day of exploring. the free Wi-Fi was a great perk, especially since our phone signal was not reliable in the area.
The room was quite small and the cooking facilities were limited, making it difficult to cook more than one dish at a time. The thin curtains let in too much light, making it hard to sleep, and some were even missing altogether.

The location of the hotel was ideal, as it allowed us to easily explore both Snæfellsnes and the South. We had no trouble finding the hotel, although the roads were not in the best condition. the cleanliness of the bathroom and the entire house was impressive. the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the room was spacious, providing plenty of room for our belongings. the kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals. We also appreciated the dining table and comfortable sofa, where we could enjoy our meals and relax. Another advantage was the availability of coffee, tea, and cookies, which added a nice touch to our stay.
One major issue we encountered during our stay was the misleading information provided. It was disappointing to find out that we would be sharing the bathroom, kitchen, and living areas with others.

Felt welcomed, no complaints at all.

We loved the recently renovated guesthouse with its fully equipped shared kitchen and spacious bathroom. the furniture in the bedroom was essential but new, and the owners were nice and kind. Despite the minor issue with the running water, the owner promptly advised us.
We felt very happy with our stay and had no reason to complain.
